Heidi & Tom’s Wedding at Ballroom Veronique
Heidi and Tom were married at the Trinity Chapel on the Boston College Law School campus Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007. Their reception was held at Ballroom Veronique in Brookline. Surprisingly enough, I didn’t notice anyone sneaking off to try to catch game 3 of the World Series. Maybe that’s because Tom is a Yankees fan, along with a number of others in attendance…..actually it was a great wedding, with a great band, Moments Notice, to keep people on their feet.
Patti & Mark’s Wedding at the Flag Hill Winery
I photographed Patti and Mark’s wedding and reception at the Flag Hill Winery Saturday October 20 in Lee, NH. Another wedding where luck was on our side. The wedding was outdoors with the vineyards as a backdrop and nice late afternoon light. We managed to get done with formal photos just as dark clouds and rain came along. Fortunately the reception was in an enclosed tent attached to the winery, so no one got wet.
Lorrie & Chris’s Wedding at the Highlander Inn
Lorrie and Chris were married at St. Paul’s Church in Concord, NH Saturday, October 13 and then we headed over to the Highlander Inn in Manchester, NH for the reception.
Giovanna & Paul’s Wedding at the Monponsett Inn
Giovanna and Paul were married in front of the gazebo at the Monponsett Inn in Halifax, MA Sunday October 7. They had their reception there too. Giovanna is from Columbia; her parents flew in for the wedding. We lucked out with a beautiful sunset. It was cloudy and rainy all day up until an hour before the early evening ceremony.
Nate & Melanie’s Wedding at the Haverhill Country Club
I photographed Nate and Melanie’s wedding September 14 at the Haverhill Country Club. Nate is a NH State Trooper and an Iraq war veteran, so it was fitting that Scott, the DJ from Mounds of Sound, played “Bad Boys” by the band Inner Circle, the theme song of the TV show COPS, during a lighter moment at the reception. The couple were married at St. James Church in Haverhill. Unfortunately a guest suffered some sort of medical emergency which stopped the celebration short for awhile. Scott is a talented DJ with over twenty years in the business, and he carefully eased the music back after things had settled a bit and gradually brought up the tempo. He really helped save the day by bringing back a happy celebration and having it end on a good note.
Mark & Crystal’s Wedding at the Victoria Inn
I photographed Mark and Crystal’s wedding August 18 at the Victoria Inn in Hampton, NH. We lucked out with the early timing of this wedding. After the reception we headed down to Hampton Beach for a few more photographs and the timing was perfect to capture the purple-blue hues on the water and in the sky.
