Taking a moment to catch up after 8 photo shoots over a long weekend. Monday I attended the Southern Maine Photog Shootout and brought intern Becca along. This is an informal get-together of local photographers in the wedding and portrait industry for some fun photo shoots with dinner and socializing at Chase Hill Conference Center afterwards. I had the opportunity to photograph the lovely Kendra in a boudoir session at CA Smith Photography in Kennebunkport, Maine followed by a trash-the-dress (or drown-the-gown, depending on where you are from!) on Colony Beach in Kennebunkport. Here’s a few of my photos and an outtake I shot of fellow photographer Rob Nicholson of Humbled Eyes Photography in Delaware, MD.

I just signed on for a booth at The Wedding Event, which is being touted as a hip planning soiree sponsored by The Newburyport Chamber of Commerce, The Knot, and AAA at Nicholson Hall at 9 Harris Street in Newburyport, Thursday, Oct. 22, 2009. It starts at 6 p.m and runs until 9 p.m. Come visit us there!
Melissa & Adam’s Engagement Session at the Boston Public Garden

I met up with Melissa and Adam at the Boston Public Garden May 17, 2009 to photograph their engagement session. We had a memorable, funny moment–no sooner had I warned them to watch their belongings when an old man came up and started taking their nice leather jackets. He was busted and decided better of it! Added to the excitement of the day, that’s for sure. Their wedding reception was July 31st at Promises to Keep in Derry, NH. Still working on the photos from the wedding. Here’s a few from the engagement in the meantime:
