Found myself in Chappaqua, New York for Jesse and Julia’s wedding at the Kittle House. The couple is the latest in a line of friends weddings I’ve photographed. Jesse’s group of college friends from Gordon College have had me as their photographer going back to 2008!
A few images from Allison and Sean’s interfaith wedding at the Bedford Village Inn. The couple had a priest and a rabbi co-officiate.
Spectacular views greeted me for a a great backdrop photographing a summer wedding atop the hills overlooking Lake Winnisquam. These two met when they moved into an apartment in Newton, MA where they didn’t know any of the roommates including each other. They hit it off on the first day, and have been stuck like glue Read More
Early July found me at a venue I have frequented quite a bit in Windham NH. Jeff and Crystal retained me to do their Searles Castle wedding photography. The couple met and began dating in high school. They went to college together and kept up their relationship through grad school, even though it was long distance Read More
On a nice late afternoon in mid-June I worked with Jess and Steve on their Portsmouth NH engagement session photography. Jess was referred to me by her cousin Jill. I photographed Jill’s wedding and Jess was one of her bridesmaids. Jill has sent a lot of folks my way for weddings- it just so happens that her father was my high school track coach! Jess and Steve’s wedding was held at their home in Maine lakeside. I’ll be posting images from their wedding in a later post. In the meantime, have a look at their engagement session photographs taken around downtown Portsmouth, NH and then see her cousin Jill’s engagement session and wedding. We strolled all over, making photographs at Strawberry Banke, Prescott Park, and various spots downtown.
I photographed Aaron and Alyssa’s June wedding reception at the Log Cabin in Holyoke, MA. Their wedding ceremony took place at Goshen Congregational Church. The couple met through college- Aaron was Alyssa’s brother’s roommate at Gordon College. Their wedding colors were a nice cheerful yellow and blue, perfect for the time of year and since it rained that day, it helped bring some nice color to the wedding photos. Their wedding is the third in a line of referrals of Gordon College friends and graduates who have had me as their wedding photographer. I also photographed Gordon College classmates Matt and Meg’s wedding at Moraine Farm and associate photographer Nic photographed Matt and Sonya’s wedding at Zorvino Vineyard. Alyssa had a nifty makeup mirror that featured a wedding portrait of her grandparents.
Martin and Ebony’s June wedding was held at Saint Michael’s Church in Lowell, MA. The couple chose to do a “first view” photo session before the ceremony at Riverfront Park in Lowell which we also captured on video. Some of their photos and video are shared below. Their bridal party did a “Soul Train Line” upon entering the reception with a performance of the robot dance by the couple when they were announced to the delight of their guests. Their wedding planner, Leslie Craig of Planned Perfectly, has shared some additional photos of mine from their wedding on her blog at Planned Perfectly. Martin and Ebony met on the Orange Line while commuting to work and you can hear Martin tell the story about that in their wedding video below. I also photographed their engagement session, which involved trains as well!
I photographed Chris and Courtney’s wedding on a nice Friday afternoon, June 3rd at Hidden Hills Banquet Facility in Rindge, NH. The perfect weather coupled with some nice golden late afternoon light helped the portraits along with some nice backdrops to work with, like the stucco building and stately landscaping.
Wedding photographs by Kevin Jacobus from wedding events throughout New Hampshire, the Boston area, New England and beyond.
Matt and Sissi had their U.S. wedding event at Searles Castle in Windham, NH. Only Sissi’s father was able to attend stateside, but they also had an event in China, her home country, as well with family there. Sissi changed dresses during the reception to pay homage to her heritage. Of course I made a 2nd round of portraits to capture that as well! I had Nicolaus as 2nd photographer as well as Don on video. Following are photos from both Nicolaus and myself.
