A Tale of Two Wrestlers: Weight Class 189

I worked with former Telegraph sports department writer and editor Brian Miller on this audio slideshow. Brian captured the audio, and I photographed both wrestlers that we profiled at practice and during meets. Fellow staff photographer Bob Hammerstrom helped out by covering the Nashua wrestler’s meet and finally, I edited all the photographs, the audio and produced the resulting slideshow below:

Don shot still photographs while I worked on the video below:

This is a video story featuring a Nashua, NH teacher who teaches a Spanish class for Spanish language students. I worked on this in December of 2005 with reporter Mike Brindley while I was a photographer and multimedia producer at The Telegraph. Looks like they are revisiting the subject of Spanish speakers in Nashua today online. Here’s the video we produced previously:

Becoming a Citizen

I covered a citizenship ceremony in Concord, NH in January, 2006 for The Telegraph (of Nashua) and while working with the print reporter, I photographed and produced an audio slideshow from the event. We focused on Susannah Maria Hakeem, a young Merrimack, NH woman who told her story of persecution in Egypt because of her Coptic Christian faith and her path to becoming a citizen of the United States.
