Keyeona & Rhon’s Peabody Marriott Wedding Reception
My associate photographers Chet and Don split the duties at Keyeona and Rhon’s wedding at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Malden, MA and Chet stayed for the duration, making some great portraits and capturing the action at the reception, which was held at the Peabody Marriott. Chet also stitched multiple photos into a panorama of the ballroom at the reception for a really nice, wide shot of the room before guests arrived. We specialize in panorama, HDR and time exposure photographs at weddings in addition to our mostly photojournalism approach.

Ami and Dave’s Wedding & Reception
July 10 was a busy weekend for us at Kevin Jacobus Photography. Nicolaus was at the Wachusett Inn, Chet was at Danversport Yacht Club and I was photographing Ami and Dave’s wedding at Harris’ Pelham Inn. Ami and Dave were referred to me by Ami’s cousin, whose wedding I photographed the previous year at Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua, NH. This was another wedding where we made our portraits in between the raindrops. One eye on the sky and one on the couple, so no one gets soaked and we still get all the photos we expect!
Chris & Mariamne’s wedding at Smith Barn at Brooksby Farm
On the last Saturday in August, I photographed Chris and Mariamne’s wedding at the Smith Barn at Brooksby Farm in Peabody, Massachusetts. This is another one of those hidden North Shore gems that surprises the visitor with its rural setting in the middle of busy suburbs. In that regard, it reminds me of another north shore wedding venue- Moraine Farm in Beverly, MA. However, Moraine Farm has more of an estate feel and only has space for tent weddings. The Smith Barn has a nice rustic feel and there are multiple buildings, fences, lawns and an orchard to round out the possibilities for portrait photography choices. We took advantage of them all!
Video of Stephanie and Michael’s Spring Wedding at the Bedford Village Inn
Videographer Dan Kennedy edited and shot this highlight video of Stephanie and Michael’s Spring wedding at the Bedford Village Inn. The couple are veterinarians and running enthusiasts. They picked a great time of year for a Bedford Village Inn wedding, you’ll see lots of flowers in bloom in many of the shots from their outdoor ceremony. I love the video of the fountain as Dan did a rack-focus from the fountain to the couple while they were being photographed for formal portraits.
Trista and Robert’s vows renewal at Belknap Mills
First post ever featuring one of my associate’s work! I brought associate photographers and a videographer on board back in March and they’ve all shot events for me this year and have events booked next year too. This is a slideshow featuring Nicolaus’ photography of Trista and Robert’s vows renewal at Belknap Mills in Laconia, NH, June 27, 2009. Rob is a machinist for a company that makes aircraft parts and Trista is a dance instructor. I personally photographed their family portrait session in August at Castle in the Clouds in Moultonborough, NH, and I’ll be photographing Trista’s trash the dress session in Nashua in October.
Courtney & Steve
Courtney and Steve were married at the First Parish Congregational Church in Saco, ME, followed by a reception at the Sable Oaks Marriott in South Portland. I photographed their engagement earlier this year too.
Nate & Melanie’s Wedding at the Haverhill Country Club
I photographed Nate and Melanie’s wedding September 14 at the Haverhill Country Club. Nate is a NH State Trooper and an Iraq war veteran, so it was fitting that Scott, the DJ from Mounds of Sound, played “Bad Boys” by the band Inner Circle, the theme song of the TV show COPS, during a lighter moment at the reception. The couple were married at St. James Church in Haverhill. Unfortunately a guest suffered some sort of medical emergency which stopped the celebration short for awhile. Scott is a talented DJ with over twenty years in the business, and he carefully eased the music back after things had settled a bit and gradually brought up the tempo. He really helped save the day by bringing back a happy celebration and having it end on a good note.
