It was another hot and humid one, and a thunderstorm threatened all afternoon. Right as guests were seated for the outdoor ceremony, the downpour began, so we had to rush inside and do the ceremony in stifling heat. Jeremy is a Navy man-submariner specifically. His boat is on exercises in Florida, so he flew up right before the wedding. Most of his friends are military, and couldn’t make the wedding. Seems to be a theme here like my last post– military families making sacrifices, such as friends or relatives not being able to attend major family gatherings. They made the best of it, despite the heat, rain, and military obligations of friends unable to attend and partied hard nonetheless.


This is not a great picture– I uploaded it because I thought it was interesting what it involved. Those poles in the photo are temporary lolley columns that are moved into place underneath the dance floor. Hmmm……hope dancing doesn’t bring the party crashing down…..
