Trevor & Sarah

I was at the Grandview Inn & Resort in Jaffrey, NH February 28, 2009 for Sarah and Trevor’s wedding. Their ceremony was held at Merrimack Valley Baptist Church. Trevor works in Maine politics, having been a legislative aide and now Grassroots Director of Maine Leads! Sarah is a nurse at Eastern Maine Medical Center and is about to start her Masters in Nursing at Husson University in Bangor, ME.

They were introduced to each other at a family party by Trevor’s sister Camara. Have a look at their cake– Sarah made her own wedding cake!

I photographed Mike and Shauna’s wedding Sept. 27, 2008. The wedding was held at St. Joseph’s Church in Medford followed by a reception at the Indian Ridge Country Club. I’m photographing Mike’s sister’s wedding next August.

I thought it was interesting that girls so young would model adult behavior and help each other out. Mirror image in 20 years?

Patti & Mark’s Wedding at the Flag Hill Winery

I photographed Patti and Mark’s wedding and reception at the Flag Hill Winery Saturday October 20 in Lee, NH. Another wedding where luck was on our side. The ceremony was outdoors with the vineyards as a backdrop and nice late afternoon light. We managed to get done with formal photos just as dark clouds and rain came along. Fortunately the reception was in an enclosed tent attached to the winery, so no one got wet.

A private moment before the reception, bride and groom captured with a backdrop of Fall leaves.

These flower girls are perfect.  Just old enough to understand their task, but still super cute!

These two little ones must be copying an image they saw somewhere of the groom sweeping the bride off her feet!

Flowers had a nice Fall feel and color to match.

Vineyards make great backgrounds for formal portraits, as Mark poses with his groomsmen.  A fair number of people from out of state choose NH for a destination wedding in the Lakes Region for the Fall leaves and waterfront.  But, a wedding at New Hampshire’s vineyards has a destination feel, like California or Italy.
