They are competitive ballroom dancers, so we were entertained by their skills throughout the wedding. Funnily enough, they started out their first dance with the sway of the usual wedding slow dance. Nearly everyone, including myself, had that “what the heck?” look on our faces, until they ended their spoof and kicked it up with some real dance moves!

We lucked out with a nice sunset. Yana and Ty aren’t shy on the dance floor, but they are self aware when being photographed. Thankfully they obliged this photograph made quick with help holding a light from their videographer so I wouldn’t have to set up a light stand. I think they’ll appreciate the results. (For photographers out there- I used a Honl grid over a Nikon SB-800 flash unit off camera triggered by pocket wizard multimax transceivers)
